I have a 45 minute commute and drive a Nissan Leaf so the heat from the car is limited and uses up range. I was finding that even with the heat on, my knees were feeling radiant cold. I folded this blanket to shape and used safety pins hold the shape which makes it very easy to cast aside and put back into place each trip. It is a thick and plush heat source from my lap to my shins and is very warm. I have actually taken advantage of the temp control to turn it down to the minimum since it was keeping me too warm. It’s amazing how much comfort this adds to my entire body by keeping my legs toasty warm. And only something less than 50 Watts means that you could easily power two of these without blowing the fuse for the lighter outlet if you travel with a passenger. It would take 3 kiloWatts from the heater to give the same comfort. Every electric car commuter should have this blanket.
